We prepare students for college starting in preschool Transitional Kindergarten in San Bernardino and Sacramento Counties and are focused on closing the African American achievement gap.

Job Summary

GENERAL

SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for driving the recruitment and hiring processes to attract and secure top talent for the organization. This position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to manage multiple recruitment initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating recruitment activities, maintaining candidate pipelines, and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Process Management:
Create and manage job descriptions for all roles.
Post job openings on relevant platforms to ensure maximum visibility.
Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.
Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
Schedule interviews with hiring managers and interview panels.
Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience.
Offer Management:
Perform reference checks for shortlisted candidates.
Coordinate verbal offers and manage offer acceptance processes.
Prepare and extend formal offer letters.
Verify certifications and ensure compliance with hiring requirements.
Data Reporting & Program Management:
Generate and analyze formative data reports to track recruitment metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Initiate and manage the referral bonus program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Recruitment Initiatives & Events:
Plan and execute recruitment events, including career fairs, networking events, and community outreach programs.
Collaborate with internal teams to set up and manage recruitment initiatives to build talent pipelines.
Additional duties as assigned
