Job Description and DutiesAs a Recruitment Consultant specializing in advertising and social media marketing, you will identify, engage, and secure top‑tier talent to support our department's growth initiatives. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to our industry and market.
Work schedule:
Hybrid. You may be required to work from the CCC Sacramento Center; after HQ renovations (expected mid‑May or later), you will report to HQ up to three days per week with a minimum of two days in‑office. Effective July 1 2026, a statewide mandate requires four days of in‑office work per week for all Hybrid positions.
Travel: required for local and statewide trips, including some overnight travel.
Responsibilities also include staffing the California Natural Resources Agency Career Center at least two days a month.
Minimum Requirements- List, Transfer, Reinstatement, or Training & Development eligibility.
- Minimum qualifications as specified in the Classification Specification for ANALYST II.
- Must reside in California to be eligible for telework.
- Proven experience as a recruiter in advertising, social media marketing, or related industry.
- Experience leveraging platforms such as Linked In, Indeed, Glassdoor, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative mindset for innovative recruitment strategies.
- Familiarity with ATS and recruitment software.
- ECOS and Visio experience.
- Presentation, customer service, and online application process experience.
- Regulation interpretation/application and consulting/negotiating skills.
