We are hiring for the position of Associate Director – Technical Delivery & Pre-Sales, Government Practice at R Systems, a Blackstone portfolio company specializing in digital product engineering. Our focus is on creating chip-to-cloud software, platforms, and digital experiences that help clients increase revenue and operational efficiency.

We also focus on legacy modernization and improving customer experiences through personalized chat agents and CRM systems, specifically tailored for the public sector.
With over 4,300 technology experts across 18 development centers and 25 offices globally, we seek a seasoned leader to drive innovation and impact in state and local government projects.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
- Experience in public sector IT consulting, with progression into leadership roles.
- Background in project delivery roles such as developer, project manager, or engagement leader.
- Hands-on experience in pre-sales and proposal development for California public agencies.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in at least three areas:
SaaS Implementations, Data Warehousing & Analytics, or related fields. Relationship management skills with public sector clients and vendors.
Preferred
- Technical writing, proposal development, and leadership in fast-paced RFP responses.
- Experience with MS Office, Adobe Suite, and proposal methodologies like Shipley.
- Ability to lead teams, manage client expectations, and drive project success.
- Ability to build the company's brand in new public sector markets.
