Job Description And Duties

This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.

The Security Operations Center (SOC) is seeking a highly motivated team member for its Network Operations Unit. Under the direction of the Information Technology (IT) Manager I, the IT Associate is responsible for client services, including but not limited to, mainframe maintenance and support (e.g., TSO, ISPF and Endeavor); monitoring the availability and security of DMV's information assets, systems and infrastructure, and providing immediate resolutions and/or escalation processes;

and providing Enterprise Service Desk support during non-business hours.

The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

Working Conditions

Part-time telework available. Telework requires California residency.

This position offers hybrid telework opportunities; however, telework arrangements are subject to change at any time based on State & departmental operational needs. Employees may be required to report to the office as necessary.

This position is for a Graveyard shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. This position is for a five-day workweek that will include working on or part of weekends. SOC operates under 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a years availability; may work extended hours and other shifts. This position offers a hybrid telework schedule. Telework requires California residency.
