• Assist with all data center tasks, including but not limited to cable management, hardware physical deployment/retirement, and troubleshooting.
• Triaging hardware issues and working with vendors to coordinate repair windows.
• Familiarity with IPMI configuration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with MS Office is desired.
• Generate cable labels.
• Use Service Now ticketing tool to manage assigned task tickets.
• Communicate during business hours via email or Slack to remain in contact with the project team.
• Take direction from the on-site team.
• Follow safety guidelines when working in the data center.
• Manage additional tasks as directed by projects or the on-site team.

• Knowledge around networking – VLANs, trunk and access ports, and port-channels on Cisco/Arista is desired.
• Linux knowledge is desired.
• Hypervisor knowledge – ESX, KVM, Harvester is desired.
• Attention to detail in maintaining CMDB and related data center documentation.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Responsible for submitting timecards to the project lead (TBD) each week for approval.

8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with some weekend work possible.

Associate degree or certification in a related field and/or relevant work experience.

1+ years of operations experience, working in a data center, QA, or Lab Engineering environment.
