This opportunity consists of two parts: in-field support and remote support.
In-Field SupportTravel across North America to work on vehicles at train manufacturers’ facilities, operator locations, or even dynamic test runs. You’ll ensure our onboard communication, passenger information, and connectivity systems are properly installed, configured, tested, and fully functional.
Key Responsibilities- Installing and configuring our software on trains
- Providing hands‑on training for clients and technicians
- Performing thorough testing and inspections to meet quality standards
- Performing hardware, software, and network troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues
- Documenting your work clearly using tools like JIRA and Confluence
When not traveling, you’ll work from our U.S. headquarters in Sacramento, California, providing critical technical support.
Remote Support Responsibilities- Serving as the primary technical contact for clients
- Troubleshooting technical issues and solving problems remotely
- Collaborating with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT
, or a related technical field
Proficient in system testing and troubleshooting
; foundational knowledge of Linux, hardware, software, and networking (TCP/IP, FTP, SSH)
Strong analytical skills, able to work independently and under pressure
Clear verbal and written communication in English;
additional languages (French, Spanish, German, Arabic) are a plus
Willing to travel approximately 50% throughout North America, with occasional international travel
