Full‑time employee – Sacramento

Salary: $140,000 - $180,000

Scope of Work

Capio Group is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to provide services, delivering ongoing maintenance, operational support, and updates for the systems maintained within multiple Salesforce client organizations. The role ensures successful implementation of system updates, operational support, optimization of system performance, and management of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to maintain high‑quality and efficient service delivery. The Lead will maintain integrations between Salesforce orgs and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow, conduct knowledge transfer activities to equip client staff, and manage the procurement and licensing of Salesforce licenses.

  • Oversee technical solution design, development leadership, integration strategy, and ensure alignment with all tasks and deliverables at the Salesforce org level.
  • Implement updates and provide ongoing maintenance, along with operational support that includes proactive system monitoring, performance tuning, user assistance, incident response within defined SLAs, regular health checks, and documentation updates.
  • Implement system updates, including decisive bug fixes and performance optimizations to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Lead and manage all phases of the SDLC, from comprehensive requirements gathering to deployment, rigorous testing, and post‑deployment support.
  • Maintain the integration processes between these Salesforce orgs and external systems, guaranteeing seamless data flow and system interoperability; implement adaptive maintenance and apply security fixes to ensure ongoing compliance with client security standards.
  • Ensure all deliverables consistently meet agreed‑upon standards and best practices, thereby optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Salesforce orgs and their associated applications.
  • Conduct thorough knowledge transfer activities for client staff and its designees, ensuring that all resources are fully trained and equipped with essential knowledge for operational success.
Mandatory Experience
  • Within the last ten (10) years, must have four (4) years of full‑time experience in a technical lead or architect role, directly responsible for the design, development, and implementation of integrated IT solutions with (a) at least 5,000 users, (b) at least 5 million data records, (c) multi‑tier architecture, and (d) high‑availability environments such as clustering or load balancing.
  • Within the last ten (10) years, must have at least three (3) years of experience leading a team of at least five (5) full‑time resources.
  • Within the last ten (10) years, must have at least three (3) years of full‑time experience as a Salesforce application developer implementing solutions, including at least three (3) of the following:
    Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, RESTful API development and integration, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Must possess a bachelor’s degree or, if lacking a bachelor’s, must provide four (4) additional years of mandatory experience as per requirement #4 above; a total of seven (7) years of experience will be required in substitution.
  • Must be able to provide client/user end reference contact information for each applicable project that meets the requirements; references must be signed by the referenced individual and be a representative of the company in a management or supervisory role.
  • Desirable Experience
  • Possession of a master’s degree, which cannot be substituted with experience.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification.
  • Active technical certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Administrator, Data Architect, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Architect.
