BI Analyst

Optum is seeking a BI Analyst to support a large-scale initiative migrating legacy BI reporting from SAP Business Objects to Microsoft BI tools. This role is highly collaborative and stakeholder-facing, requiring strong requirements gathering, documentation, and communication skills, along with hands‑on experience supporting BI users in an agile environment.

• Set up, lead, and participate in meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to support BI reporting initiatives
• Gather business and technical requirements and document the current BI reporting landscape
• Analyze existing reports and workflows to recommend future design during the migration to Microsoft BI tools
• Provide daily and weekly status updates to internal and external teams
• Serve as a point of contact for end users providing guidance and troubleshooting

• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft BI tools or other business intelligence tools
• 2+ years working in an Agile environment, including the use of an agile tracking tool (Jira preferred)
• 2+ years of database experience
• 2+ years of experience gathering and documenting requirements
• Experience interacting with and presenting to stakeholders

• Strong communication skills
• Experience with Power BI Report Builder
