Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven AI Software Presales Solutions Architect Engineer to join our forward‑thinking team. In this role, you will promote and sell our cutting‑edge AI software solutions, translating complex AI concepts into clear and compelling value propositions for customers. You will collaborate closely with the business development team to drive the adoption of our AI solutions and contribute to the growth of our customer base.
The ideal candidate will exhibit robust technical proficiency in AI tools and workflows, possess both tactical and strategic presales approaches, and excel as an effective communicator.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of HP AI software offerings, becoming the technical subject matter expert in all pre‑sales activities.
- Translate complex AI concepts into clear and compelling value propositions for customers.
- Work closely with the business development team to understand customer needs and provide pre‑sales technical support.
- Collaborate with the business development team to create customized AI solution engagements for clients.
- Work with partners and customers to understand their technical needs and find enablement opportunities to expand adoption and utilization of HP AI solutions.
- Assist customers in understanding the strategic impact of integrating AI/ML into their workflows.
- Design and implement AI proof of concepts to showcase the capabilities and potential impact on solving customer challenges.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on AI software solutions for customers, internal teams, and partners.
- Create technical documentation and best practices guides to support the sales process and customer onboarding, partnering with the sales and marketing teams to develop compelling customer sales assets.
- Work closely with experience managers, engineers, and product teams to translate requirements for an end‑to‑end workflow.
- Conduct in‑depth product demonstrations, customized workflow examples, and technical presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored solutions.
- 5+ years of solution engineering and software experience.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in AI software sales or solutions engineering.
- In‑depth knowledge of AI, machine learning, and data science concepts.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong proficiency with AI frameworks, tools, and platforms.
- Familiarity with sales processes and tools.
- Proficiency in either Python or C++, with experience in both languages.
- Proven track record of developing enterprise data science projects.
- Dev Ops and experience in developing software in hybrid cloud environments (cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem).
- Demonstrated track record of achieving presales KPI’s including opportunity conversion.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering fields or equivalent experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $ – $ annually, with additional opportunities for bonus and/or equity.
