Required Skills:
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years:
Of proven technical experience in architecture, development, and design of complex multi-tier solutions in Java or object-oriented programming environment.
In a technical lead role implementing Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution or a lead role in a large-scale system integration project.
With software design fundamentals and design patterns.
Performing activities in the software development life cycle including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, as well as troubleshooting, technical documentation, and application architecture.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years:
Performing systems analysis, design and re-engineering of complex systems and environments.
Working on large scale systems development or integration projects acting as lead systems analyst performing documenting and analyzing business/systems requirements, data requirements, and data architecture and relationships.
Acting as liaison between the business and the technical teams in a large-scale systems development and data integration projects.
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years:
Performing systems analysis and developing system rules, requirements, design and data documents, architecture and data models and diagrams for the re-engineering of complex systems and environments.
Desirable
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience with database design and development, including PL/SQL programming, preferably Oracle database.
- Must demonstrate seasoned judgment to recommend approaches that optimize customer needs, business constraints, and technological realities.
Scope Description
This is a deliverables-based contract in which the Technical Analysis Team will be responsible for creating an inventory of systems, interfaces, and data components; reviewing and validating the understanding of dependencies, inputs and outputs; and documenting the As-Is technical and data components. This effort will give the Technical Analysis Team insight into existing challenges of the current JCPSS in order to identify and propose To-Be recommendations, employ standardized systems integration techniques and processes, and consider system design principles and patterns so that future enhancements are cost-effective and easier to implement.
Work efforts will be coordinated with the Client Project Managers, Contract Manager and project technical team responsible for tracking the overall Planning progress.
