Hiring: IT Systems Support Specialist (Field Services)

Location:

Downtown Sacramento, CA (Onsite). We are looking for an experienced IT Systems Support Specialist to provide onsite Field Service support for multiple business departments. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on IT professional with strong desktop support, Active Directory, and Windows troubleshooting experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2 Service Desk and Field Support
  • Troubleshoot Windows hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Support Active Directory user administration and identity management
  • Assist users with DUO authentication, Net Motion, and remote connectivity
  • Perform software deployments using MECM task sequences
  • Install, configure, image, relocate, and support desktops, laptops, and IT equipment
  • Support hardware peripherals including printers, barcode scanners, and receipt printers
  • Update hardware/software inventory and asset assignments
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and technical procedures
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting multiple departments
Required Skills

3+ years of IT Support / Desktop Support / Field Services experience.

Strong experience with:

  • Windows 10/11 troubleshooting
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
  • Hardware & software installation
  • Desktop imaging
  • IT asset management
  • Microsoft Edge configuration

Experience supporting:

  • Net Motion VPN
  • Network connectivity
  • Desktop peripherals

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple support requests in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Manifest asset management
  • Government or public sector IT support
