Capio Group – Project Manager (Full‑time, Sacramento)

Capio Group, an IT consulting firm serving the public sector, seeks an experienced Project Manager to deliver maintenance, operational support, and updates for three Salesforce client organizations. Salary: $140,000 – $160,000. Full‑time employee – Sacramento.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the project deliverables and serving as the primary point of contact for the task completion at the Salesforce Org Level.
  • Implementing updates and providing ongoing maintenance, along with operational support that includes proactive system monitoring, performance tuning, user assistance, incident response within defined SLAs, regular health checks, and documentation updates for existing applications and systems within each Salesforce Org.
  • Implementing system updates, including decisive bug fixes and performance optimizations to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Leading and managing all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from comprehensive requirements gathering to deployment, rigorous testing, and post‑deployment support.
  • Maintaining the integration processes between these Salesforce Orgs and external systems, guaranteeing seamless data flow and system interoperability.
    Implementing adaptive maintenance and applying security fixes to ensure ongoing compliance with the client’s security standards.
  • Ensuring that all deliverables consistently meet agreed‑upon standards and best practices, thereby optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Salesforce Orgs and their associated applications.
  • Conducting thorough knowledge transfer activities for the client staff and its designees, ensuring that all resources are fully trained and equipped with essential knowledge for operational success.
Mandatory Experience and Qualifications
  • Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of five (5) years of FTE experience as a Project Manager (PM) or Scrum Master on software implementation projects.
  • Within the last ten (10) years, at least three (3) years of experience directly managing a team of at least five (5) FTE resources.
  • Within the last ten (10) years, at least three (3) years of FTE experience in IT development projects.
  • Possession of at least one current and active certification:

    Project Management Professional (PMP) through PMI.

    • SAFe Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner through PMI.
    Certification is required and cannot be substituted with experience.
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year‑for‑year basis. Provide a copy of the degree upon request. If no bachelor’s degree, four (4) additional years of mandatory experience (as per requirement #3) can be submitted in lieu. Experience cited in lieu may not overlap with experience cited to meet requirement #3.
  • Must provide client/user end reference contact information for each applicable project that meets the requirements. Submit completed reference forms when requested. Each reference must be signed by the referenced individual and be a representative from the company who served in a management or supervisory role.
  • Desirable Experience
  • Possession of a Master’s Degree. Copy of the degree must be provided. Degree is required and cannot be substituted with experience.
  • Possession of an ITIL certification. Copy of the certification must be provided.
  • Within the last ten (10) years, at least one (1) year of FTE experience working with California Employment Development Department (EDD) systems.
