Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented data center space and power capacity planner. As part of the Capacity Planning team, the ideal candidate is highly motivated, experienced, and understands data centers front‑to‑back. The role requires connecting demand to supply and a strong grasp of data‑center design, delivery, and the related hardware. Successful candidates should love data, be comfortable with complexity, make thoughtful judgments and calculated risks, and communicate complex concepts in an executive‑ready manner.
ResponsibilitiesJoin the Oracle Cloud team, a fast‑growing group with an entrepreneurial spirit, to build industry‑leading cloud infrastructure role supports the Data Center Capacity Planning team in creating scalable and repeatable processes and includes the following responsibilities:
- Driving power, space, and network block capacity planning globally.
- Overseeing and tracking day‑to‑day project milestones to ensure launches are executed at the highest quality.
- Tracking business‑critical data‑center expansion projects.
- Establishing priorities, identifying and communicating risks and mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders; developing and maintaining program milestones and completion dates.
- Using operational metrics to drive process improvement and efficiencies with a focus on creating scalable processes.
- Demonstrating success in creating and refining operational processes.
- Directing multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment with a strong customer focus.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
- Highly skilled with SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience with cloud capacity planning.
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically.
- Broad commercial awareness developed in a fast‑moving environment.
- Innovative and self‑directed.
- Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion.
- Experience in process improvement.
