Job Summary
Spectrum Brands’ global enabling functions, including Finance, Legal, IT, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Commercial Operations, provide enterprise‑wide strategy, structure, and common processes to deliver the knowledge and expertise that helps our businesses grow. The Security Administrator is responsible for providing and controlling security access to Active Directory (AD), SAP, and third‑party applications and infrastructure managed by Information Technology. This role leverages security best practices to protect Spectrum Brands critical data and infrastructure across multiple platforms and supports Spectrum Brands’ global divisions.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Creates AD users and groups in multiple domains, including EntraID, and assigns approved resource network access using existing processes and procedures to perform manual provisioning and deprovisioning activities.
- Administers individual Exchange mailboxes.
- Maintains user accounts in various systems, including SAP, managed by Information Technology.
- Manages assigned security incidents, communicating and documenting all activities performed in resolving incidents.
- Ensures SAP and AD accounts are disabled and cleaned up according to policy.
- Ensures auditing requirements are met for all security access.
- Updates documentation as changes are made to groups and roles in AD, EntraID, SAP, and other applications and systems.
- Supports operational and project user identity functions.
- Assists with operationalizing access provisioning and deprovisioning for new applications/systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of total Information Technology experience.
- Previous Active Directory and EntraID experience required.
- Knowledge of AD concepts and permissions.
- Ability to complete business security specifications that meet and/or exceed user expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and business partners to resolve security issues.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities through leadership guidance.
- Continuously works on improving own knowledge, skills, and attitude.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Highly motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership of their work/projects.
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates attention to detail, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize scripts and reporting tools.
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
