Geo Acuity is seeking a GIS Specialist to perform mapping, graphics, and tabular data tasks. This role supports database design, geodatabase maintenance, and GIS assistance to Reclamation staff across water resource and environmental management programs.

Full-time

• Perform mapping, graphics, and tabular data production tasks
• Assist in database design, automation, and processing macros for analytical procedures
• Maintain and update geodatabases and review output for data accuracy and adherence to end-user criteria
• Assist with ArcGIS Online administration and content management
• Maintain logs, records, and files associated with GIS projects
• Provide GIS assistance and technical support to Reclamation staff

• BA/BS in Geography, Natural Resources Management, Earth Sciences, Engineering, or Computer Science (comparable experience accepted)
• 3–5 years of GIS production work using Esri software
• Coursework in cartography and/or graphic design
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and the Esri software suite
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to pass a federal background check prior to start date

• Relevant Esri training within past 2 years:
  ArcGIS Pro, Introduction to Geoprocessing Scripts Using Python, Basics of Python, Managing Lidar Data Using Mosaic Datasets, Map Design Fundamentals, Creating Prediction Surfaces in ArcGIS, Building Geoprocessing Models, Creating and Sharing GIS Content Using ArcGIS Online, or User Workflows for ArcGIS Online Organizations
• Familiarity with GPS and field data collection technologies
• Experience supporting federal or natural resource GIS programs
