Sr. Data Engineer (Healthcare Payer/HRP)

Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite every week)

Duration: 24 Months Contract

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Engineer with strong expertise in Healthcare Payer analytics
, SQL/SSIS development
, and Enterprise Data Warehousing
. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Health Rules Payer (HRP) or QNXT
, healthcare claims and enrollment data, and business intelligence reporting. Experience working with CalPERS data or reporting is highly preferred.

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes using SQL Server and SSIS
  .
• Build and maintain enterprise data warehouses, data marts, and healthcare reporting solutions.
• Analyze and report on Claims, Enrollment, Provider, and Accumulator data using Health Rules Payer (HRP) or QNXT
  .
• Develop interactive dashboards and executive reports using Power BI and Tableau
  .
• Support HEDIS/NCQA reporting, operational analytics, financial reconciliation, and data quality initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA
  , data governance, and security standards while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

• Advanced SQL, T‑SQL, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization

• Healthcare Payer experience with Health Rules Payer (HRP) or QNXT
• Power BI, Tableau, DAX
• Data Governance, Data Quality, HIPAA Compliance
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder communication skills

• Experience with CalPERS data or reporting
• Hands‑on experience with HEDIS measures and NCQA specifications
• Experience building executive dashboards, operational reporting, and healthcare analytics solutions
