Information Technology Manager I

The Information Technology Manager I (ITM I) works under the general supervision of the Information Technology Manager II (ITM II). The ITM I is responsible for managing testing, release management and batch and interface services for DSS applications. This position is also responsible for supporting development resources and related technologies for the California Department of Social Services (CDSS). This position is responsible to ensure software development standards are met through software release management process.

Oversees the administration and operation of configuration management and work management system. Develops standards for workload and configuration management. The ITM I works closely with staff from other branches within the Information Systems Division (ISD), as well as with organizations within and external to CDSS, to meet information technology needs in support of a specific division and the department as a whole.
