Remote Platform Engineer
Insight Global is seeking a remote platform engineer to support a critical modernization effort with a large government healthcare customer. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and managing a cloud native, multitenant Dev Ops platform that will be leveraged across a large enterprise environment. The goal for this role will be to leverage various open source cloud native tools to build and enhance a self-service devops platform that is robust, highly scalable, and reusable.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in devops and CI/CD, as well as experience in cloud native computing, Git Ops, and/or platform engineering.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Work with the customer and technical staff to interpret requirements into a design roadmap
- In coordination with architect and delivery team, design and build out CI/CD pipeline
- Help solve issues around scalability and reusability in IAC environment in Terraform
- Adding new CI or CD technologies to the existing pipeline
- Configure and deploy helm charts for specific use cases
- Enhance implementation and usage of cloud native tools like ArgoCD and Crossplane as part of the Git Ops strategy
- Troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline issues as they arise, working closely with SRE and developers
- Align closely with the Product Owners to understand user stories
- Adhere to Agile/Scrum development methodology
Rate: $157,400 - $192,500 annualized
