About Us
Effortless Office partners with our customers to make IT effortless so they can focus on their business. As a Hybrid Managed Services Provider (MSP) with a focus on providing world-class customer experience, we deliver and fully support secure cloud solutions as well as comprehensive managed IT and network services.
About the RoleThis newly created embedded position within Effortless Office will serve as the dedicated, on-site technology leader for one of our key clients — Sacramento SPCA — owning their technology function top to bottom. From hands-on equipment support and new staff onboarding to technology budgeting, vendor coordination, and presenting at weekly leadership meetings, this role keeps the client's entire technology ecosystem running.
Technology touches everything they do, from adoptions and clinic operations to fundraising and community outreach, and this position ensures it all works.
The IT Manager will be embedded with Sacramento SPCA day-to-day, but will never work in isolation. As an Effortless Office employee, they are backed by our full MSP organization — 24/7 helpdesk, cloud infrastructure engineers, security tooling specialists, and escalation support — and will collaborate closely with those internal teams to implement and support the client's IT roadmap. This role exercises sound judgment about when to resolve issues directly on-site, when to pull in EO's centralized resources, and when to engage a specialty vendor.
This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate across teams while retaining subject‑matter authority with the client, and 5+ years of broad, hands‑on IT experience. It fits two profiles equally well: a strong senior technician with informal leadership experience ready for a dedicated client‑facing seat, or a seasoned IT professional who wants to trade large‑organization scale for the challenge and variety of owning technology end‑to‑end for a mission‑driven organization — with the full backing of an MSP behind them.
