SMUD is seeking a growth-oriented

Entry Enterprise Technology Analystto join a fast-paced team of IT professionals. Working under close supervision, you will focus on acquiring foundational knowledge, technical skills, and configuration abilities within our Human Capital Management (HCM) ecosystem. This role is a developmental opportunity designed forhighly motivated individuals with an analytical mindset, technical aptitude, and exposure to ERP/HRIS concepts who are eager to build an SAP configuration background.

analytical mindset and exposure to developing and configuring systems
who are adept at managing concurrent learning assignments, and who can effectively work both within a team and under close supervision while being eager to build an SAP configuration and development background and acquire new skill sets.

This position requires the knowledge, skills, and ability to:

• Analyze business processes and match user requirements to system capabilities.

• Learn, implement and enhance new technologies

• Develop specifications; configure solutions, develop testing criteria and conduct testing.

• Determine system integration points and resolve moderately complex technical issues.

• Establish and maintain effective internal/external working relationships and work effectively in diverse teams.

• Be flexible and open to change, results oriented,anddriven.

• Effectively communicate in large group settings and be able to achieve consensus.

• Analyze procedures and systems to evaluate and resolve technical issues.

• Develop and implement operational improvements

We are posting this opportunity for the Entry level along with our Intermediate and Journey level positions. The department will be filling one position at either of those levels. This position requires weekly onsite in-office work.

Under close supervision, performs the more basic business processes and technical support utilizing SMUD's various enterprise and other integrated technology solutions in the areas of design, configuration, operation, maintenance, and enhancement; assists in serving as a functional resource to the user community to ensure reliability, accessibility and effectiveness to meet the needs of the business unit overall.
