Infrastructure Services is part of IS&T and the foundation of Apple's global network operations — managing data center equipment and systems to deliver compute, storage, and networking services for teams across Apple, including its internal developer community. From individual facilities to a worldwide network, Infrastructure Services ensures the technology underneath everything works without question.

Global Network Services keeps Apple’s world-class Data Center network running smoothly and efficiently. We are a global team of engineers who operate the diverse technology, protocol and vendor stack that interconnects all facets of Apple’s network at a scale that is second to none. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person to join a dynamic and exciting team within Apple’s Global Network Services.

You will be skilled in cross-organizational collaboration, liaising with internal teams and external service providers to operate and maintain the network infrastructure. You will need to develop and maintain clear documentation and procedures associated with operations. This position provides the opportunity to operate a cutting-edge, worldwide, multi-vendor network.

In this fast paced role, you will provide operational support for Apple’s Data Center network to address a wide variety of business challenges. You will be comfortable in a dynamic environment with the ability to multi-task and provide technical support to various businesses within Apple.

This position requires a collaborative teammate who will enjoy working with others around the globe. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and upgrading existing networks to current standards, and sustaining operations, as well as contributing to technical and procedural documentation. In this role you will obsess over minute details and drive operational excellence in every aspect of your work to deliver the best possible customer experience.

• Manage Mission-Critical Network Operations:
  Deliver 24/7 operational support and rapid incident response across Apple’s global data center network, resolving high-impact outages and network anomalies across multi-vendor environments to ensure high availability.
• Execute Infrastructure Life cycles & Upgrades:
  Plan, test, and deploy network maintenance, hardware/software upgrades, and configuration changes adhering to BGP routing standards, overlay architectures, and security policies.
• Partner Cross-Functionally Across Global Teams:
