Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic insurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, servicing, and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all inquiries and service needs.
- Analyze clients' insurance needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their coverage requirements.
- Prepare and present insurance quotes, policy renewals, and endorsements to clients.
- Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums.
- Manage the end-to-end renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of paperwork and communication with clients.
- Assist clients with claims processing and provide guidance throughout the claims lifecycle.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide relevant advice to clients.
- Conduct regular account reviews and risk assessments to identify opportunities for account expansion.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the agency management system.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using insurance agency management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Insurance licensing as required by state regulations (e.g., Property and Casualty License).
