Technical Order Specialist – Part Time

The Technical Order Specialist is responsible for reviewing technical specifications and managing customer orders for IC handler conversion kits and related products. This role ensures accurate interpretation of customer and engineering requirements, validates product configurations, and coordinates order processing from quotation through fulfillment. The Technical Order Specialist will be working as an interface between our customers and our design teams to organize customer information and manage the order process for our semiconductor handler conversion kits.

As there are very few standards for semiconductor final test platforms, there is a great deal of variation in every kit.

Success in this role requires a particularly organized individual as there will be multiple open topics at any given time which will require meticulous bookkeeping, attention to details and prompt follow-up on deadlines to ensure the best experience for our customers and on-time delivery.

• Review and validate technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements for IC handler conversion kits.
• Verify product configurations and compatibility to ensure order accuracy.
• Process, manage, and track customer orders throughout the order lifecycle.
• Coordinate with customers, engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to resolve technical and order-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP and order management systems.
• Monitor order status and communicate updates, delivery schedules, and issue resolutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in specifications, pricing, configurations, and documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer support while ensuring on-time order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

• Associate's degree/Diploma/Certificate in Engineering, Business, Mechanical design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in technical order management, customer service, sales operations, or manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and product documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, written and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with CAD software (Solid Works/3D CAD).
• Experience in semiconductor hardware or related technical manufacturing environments preferred.

We offer a competitive salary, this is a part-time position of 20 hours a week – Monday to Friday at our Roseville, California.
