A Paralegal plays a crucial role in supporting legal teams, particularly in the area of personal injury law. This position requires a professional with extensive experience in managing a substantial caseload and ensuring the efficient handling of medical records and litigation documents. • Summarize and subpoena medical records while tracking all related documentation
• Ensure timely retrieval of requested medical records
• Assist with expert witnesses by ensuring documents reach retained experts
• Review and analyze discovery materials, identifying necessary subpoenas for medical and employment records
• Perform medical record analysis and provide summaries
• Communicate pertinent issues to attorneys as they arise
• Manage calendaring and deadlines effectively
• Meet a billable requirement of 140 hours per month

• Minimum of 5-7 years of personal injury experience with a strong understanding of medical records
• A Paralegal certificate is required
• Experience in litigation and trial preparation
• Proficient in summarizing and subpoenaing medical records
• Ability to assist with expert witness documentation
• Drafting discovery experience is preferred
