This leader will own the end‑to‑end production planning function—balancing demand, capacity, and inventory—while driving precision, efficiency, and scalability across the operation. WHAT

YOU’LL OWN (IMPACT)
  • Drive on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) delivery across all customer channels
  • Optimize production flow across roasting, packaging, and distribution
  • Reduce waste, downtime, and inventory inefficiencies
  • Strengthen cross‑functional alignment between sales, operations, and supply chain
  • Elevate planning systems, accuracy, and forecasting capability
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Production Planning & Scheduling
  • Build and manage daily, weekly, and long‑range production schedules
  • Align plans with demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets
  • Continuously optimize capacity, labor, and equipment utilization
  • Adjust plans in real‑time to respond to operational constraints
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop production planning team members
  • Set clear performance expectations and accountability standards
  • Foster a high‑performance, continuous improvement culture
Inventory & Materials Strategy
  • Partner with procurement to ensure material readiness
  • Balance inventory investment with service level expectations
  • Drive inventory accuracy and cycle count integrity
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the central hub between production, QA, maintenance, and logistics
  • Communicate priorities, risks, and changes clearly and proactively
  • Support new product launches and operational transitions
Data, Systems & Optimization
  • Analyze demand trends, production data, and performance metrics
  • Leverage ERP/MRP systems (Fishbowl preferred) to improve accuracy
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
Compliance & Quality Alignment
  • Ensure planning aligns with SQF, GMP, and HACCP standards
  • Support audit readiness and documentation integrity
SUCCESS METRICS (KPIs)
  • OTIF (On‑Time, In‑Full Delivery)
  • Schedule adherence
  • Forecast accuracy
  • Inventory turns & carrying cost
  • Waste reduction & downtime
  • Production throughput and efficiency
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred
  • 4+ years of production planning or manufacturing experience
  • 1–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience in food & beverage manufacturing strongly preferred
  • ERP/MRP system experience (Fishbowl a plus)
  • Strong analytical, Excel, and problem‑solving skills
