Sourcing Manager

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Permanent Strategic Sourcing Manager for a fast‑paced manufacturing team. The role focuses on developing and executing sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supply availability while managing supplier relationships, contract negotiations, production planning, and cost‑reduction initiatives. This is a permanent position with no contract period.

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supply availability.
• Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, contract compliance, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand and forecast demand, and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
• Develop and implement production planning strategies, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products.
• Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives, tracking and reporting on savings.
• Stay abreast of market trends, supplier capabilities, and new technologies to ensure competitive sourcing strategies.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the ingredients used in the manufacturing process, ensuring quality and compliance with regulations.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or a related role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost reduction.
• Strong knowledge of ingredients used in the manufacturing process.
• Solid understanding of production planning and demand forecasting.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement is a plus.
