Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role supports day-to-day facility functionality through preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and continuous improvement efforts.

Hours:

M-F, 8AM-5PM

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour.

Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to diagnose and resolve issues

Complete work orders accurately and timely using a maintenance management system (CMMS), if applicable

Conduct inspections to identify safety hazards and maintenance needs

Repair or replace faulty components, parts, and systems

Support facility upkeep including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and structural repairs as needed

Follow safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies

Assist with installation, modification, or upgrades of equipment and systems

Collaborate with vendors and contractors when necessary

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred

[1–5]+ years of maintenance or technician experience in a similar environment

Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing systems

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to lift up to [50–75] lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Basic computer skills; CMMS experience a plus

EPA, HVAC, electrical, or industrial maintenance certifications

Experience in [manufacturing / warehouse / facilities / property management] environment

Welding, fabrication, or PLC knowledge

Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift certification

Strong attention to detail

Reliability and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Clear communication skills

Adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Indoor and outdoor work as required

Exposure to noise, moving machinery, temperature changes, and chemicals

PPE required based on task
