Are you a seasoned reporting expert ready to take on a critical leadership role in a transformative infrastructure program? We're looking for a dedicated Reporting Manager to lead our Program Reporting Unit within Project Controls & Project Financial services. You'll be instrumental in defining and implementing our program-wide reporting strategy, ensuring all stakeholders have the accurate, timely, and prioritized information they need for key decision-making.
WhatYou'll Do
- Lead Program Reporting:
Manage the Program Reporting Unit and oversee all program and enterprise-level reporting. - Define Strategy & Process:
Define and implement the program's reporting strategy and processes, including supporting project-level reporting as needed. - Develop and Maintain Tools:
Develop, deliver, and maintain an overall reporting structure and reporting tools, including quarterly and monthly reports. - Policy and Workflow Management:
Develop and maintain all reporting policies, plans, procedures, and workflows that describe scope, cost, and schedule information. - Strategic Direction & Oversight:
Provide strategic direction and oversight for all monthly and annual reporting to ensure information is accurate, appropriately detailed, submitted on time, and aligned with key stakeholder requirements. - Report Production:
Partner with cost, risk management, and schedule leads to develop, compile, and produce program reports covering progress, cost, cash flow, earned value, risk, schedule, and other relevant information. - Quality Assurance & Coordination:
Coordinate with multiple project teams to gather necessary information, provide quality control of the data, and provide quality assurance on reporting, assuring key messaging and content. - Present Reports:
Develop, coordinate, and present monthly reports (i.e., CVSR, PDSR, Board Reporting, etc.) and other required reporting. - Liaison:
Act as a liaison with the Financial Office to collaborate on Board Reporting requirements. - Improvement:
Assess, analyze, and report any potential improvements or opportunities to automate, such as through Power
BI type tools.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business management, or project management is required.
- Experience:
- Experience in management or a related technical field.
- Experience in the production of project and/or program reporting.
- Experience creating or revising reports to provide the most robust, actionable project reporting.
- Experience developing and implementing reporting strategy and processes on a program.
- Experience managing and motivating reporting teams on major programs.
- Knowledge &
Skills:- Knowledge of project management, document control, data management, business, and presentation.
- Ability to liaise, coordinate, and negotiate with departmental and external stakeholders to elicit timely and consistent responses to reporting requirements.
- Ability to lead and develop reporting methodology, procedures, and presentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency with data analytics tools such as Power
BI is preferred. - Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
