Your impact

We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Sr. Project Manager – Healthcare Buildings to join our team in Sacramento, CA. Someone who can use their vast experience in the industry and apply it to today’s challenges.

As a Sr. Project Manager – Healthcare Buildings on our team, you’re not just building structures, helping our clients innovate and grow by executing the construction of their various facilities that are shaping our world.

You will be working out of the client’s site/office in Sacramento, CA, reporting directly to the Sr. Project Manager and working alongside other Project and Construction Managers. You’ll be responsible not only for the overall project delivery, but also for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives. You will manage and provide construction oversight and resolve complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreements.

As the onsite Owners Representative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring not only the progress and technical performance of a project, but also:

  • Liaison with IORs, Special Inspectors and other Authority’s Having Jurisdiction (including HCAi) in collaboration with the Contractor
  • Review and assist with the development of Project Delivery Plans, including QA/QC Plans, Safety Plans, Logistics Plans, etc.
  • Coordination with Healthcare Operations including Facilities Management, Community and Government Relations and Environmental Health & Safety
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with ICRA/PCRA requirements as well as compliance with HCAi related control measures
  • Schedule Updates, Reviews and Management
  • Assist with Safety and Environmental Health issues

Here's what you'll need
  • Bachelor of Science in a Construction Management or Engineering discipline (or equivalent on the job training).
  • 12+ years of related construction project management experience with healthcare or other similarly complex construction building projects
  • Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building
  • Strong working knowledge in vendor procurements, change order negotiation, budget and schedule management, operational governances, client satisfaction and management
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM), CM‑Lean, DBIA Professional, or Professional Engineer (PE) is highly encouraged, but not required

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
