Job Summary- The General Superintendent is responsible for hiring, managing, training, and developing employees. This role also manages performance of employees – including conducting performance appraisals.
- Plan, schedule, and administer the branch budget
- Ensure that all jobs are completed according to plan, are within budget and according to promised deadlines
- Deliver timely and accurate reports, financials, schedules, and budgets on a regular basis
- Coach, evaluate and train staff and field workers in the performance of landscape construction services
- Inspect all field work; analyze and resolve problems
- Manage labor force & subcontractors to ensure labor budgets are on track
- Maintain accurate daily and weekly Foremen and Superintendent activity logs; update production tracking reports and generate other related reports as needed
- Responsible for dispatch of labor and equipment to job sites
- Manage equipment utilization on projects, equipment storage and maintenance
- Ensure that all construction services are delivered according to contract specifications & drawings, are within budget and on schedule
- Represent the company, interface, and build relationships with owners, clients, architects, general contractors, and subcontractors
- Manage tools and equipment delivery, storage, operation, and maintenance
- Ensure that entire branch operates safely and efficiently at all times
- Communicate Company goals to management and employees
- Ensure that employees are both results oriented and operating as a team
- Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting the Company culture, in particular, regarding safety, quality and customer service
- Minimum 10 years’ experience managing field operations/ design–build operations, general construction operations
- Minimum 10 years’ experience working with a general contractor, or a specialty contractor, with extensive knowledge and experience in labor management and production
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with large construction equipment management and crane operations and management
- Significant local construction and field experience
- Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers/copiers
- Ability to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling.
- Work in indoor office and also outdoors during site walkthroughs and site supervision duties.

Compensation Pay Range$90,
