Position: LIEUTENANT FOLSOM STATE PRISON

Job Description And Duties

The Correctional Lieutenant, under the supervision of the assigned Correctional Captain or Correctional Administrator, develops, plans, coordinates, organizes, and supervises and directs the Correctional Sergeants in the general security provisions within Folsom State Prison (FSP). The Correctional Lieutenant is responsible for their entire area, ensuring the safe custody, discipline, and welfare of Incarcerated Persons (IP) or an assigned major area of function (IP Assignments, Investigations, Public Information, Personnel Assignments, etc.).
