We are currently recruiting for a local manufacturing company to assist with their increase in production. Great work ethic, dependability and a "can and will-do" attitude go a long way towards dependable and consistent employment! Persons with strong aptitude and ability to learn operational process are most successful.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard
- Load materials from Production line onto trucks for outgoing shipments
- Receive materials and organize and store those materials in the warehouse
- Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately
- Move materials within warehouse, to facilitate production.
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment, including packaging
- Operate forklift. Familiarity with various types of Fork Lifts, a plus. OSHA certification not required, but a definite plus.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and safety procedures within a warehouse.
- Must maintain safety practices at all times
- Relies on experience and sound judgment to accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Operate, or train on machinery, other than Forklifts, and be willing to work either job as needed.
- Must have recent Fork Lift experience, a history of safe operations at previous employer in order to drive the Fork Lift
- Certification without on-the job-experience does not pertain
- Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60lbs) on occasion
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions required
- Recent experience and familiarity with RFID scanners
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must be able to provide proof of recent, relevant work history, including at least 3 business references AND contact phone numbers from such employers.
- Must be reliable, responsive, and hardworking with excellent work ethic and positive demeanor.
- Must have consistent, reliable means of transportation.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $23.00
