Support a highly automated manufacturing operation while working hands-on with Allen-Bradley PLCs, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and advanced process controls.

- Swing Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Two openings available:
One Day Shift and One Swing Shift. Shift schedules may extend beyond normal start and end times during peak production periods to support operational needs.
We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Technician to support automated manufacturing equipment, industrial control systems, instrumentation, and electrical maintenance activities within a production environment.
This role is responsible for troubleshooting, programming, commissioning, and maintaining PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment while supporting daily plant operations, continuous improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, and capital projects. The ideal candidate brings strong Allen-Bradley PLC experience, controls experience, advanced troubleshooting skills, and a passion for solving complex automation challenges.

$35.00 - $50.00 per hour
What You'll Accomplish- Troubleshoot, program, and maintain Allen-Bradley PLC platforms including Control Logix, Compact Logix, Factory Talk, and RS Linx
- Support automated manufacturing equipment, industrial controls systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems
- Install, calibrate, commission, and maintain instrumentation and controls equipment, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), sensors, transmitters, flow meters, control valves, and other process control devices
- Support HMI and SCADA applications
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of production equipment and control systems
- Conduct root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and operational performance
- Support equipment startups, process improvements, and control system upgrades
- Assist with capital projects and new equipment installations
- Monitor and modify PLC logic to support troubleshooting and process improvements
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives
- Follow GMP, food safety, food quality, and safety requirements
We're seeking a controls-oriented maintenance professional who combines strong electrical troubleshooting skills with hands-on automation and PLC experience. Successful candidates are safety-focused, collaborative, and comfortable serving as a technical resource within a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- 6+ years of industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Allen-Bradley Control Logix and Compact Logix platforms
- Experience supporting automated production equipment and process control systems
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls
- Knowledge of power distribution systems
- Experience with industrial automation and process controls
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to successfully complete a PLC/electrical assessment
- Food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing experience
- Experience with SCADA, HMI, and Wonderware systems
- Experience with equipment commissioning and startup activities
- Experience supporting capital projects and equipment installation
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with instrumentation calibration and process controls
- Experience working as part of cross-functional maintenance, operations, or engineering teams
- On-site manufacturing facility
- Food production environment operating under GMP requirements
- Exposure to noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, humidity, and manufacturing operations
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, ladders, and elevated platforms
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Overtime expected during peak production periods
