Production Supervisor

We are searching for a hands‑on Production Supervisor to join our Elevator Controls Corporation (ECC) team at Vantage Elevation.

• Associate’s Degree required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations, Management, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of operational or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and employee development skills.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, standardized work procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to enforce safety, quality, and workplace standards in a unionized or industrial setting.

• Managing daily production operations across 8–10 hour shifts to meet production schedules and business objectives.
• Supervising and directing up to 20–25 hourly employees across multiple departments.
• Maintaining a visible presence on the production floor to monitor productivity, coach employees, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Conducting regular performance discussions and providing ongoing feedback to support employee development.
• Planning and executing weekly production targets while ensuring efficient use of labor and resources.
• Analyzing operational processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to increase efficiency.
• Tracking quality and delivery issues and implementing timely corrective actions.
• Supporting engineering projects, new product introductions, and plant improvement initiatives.
• Establishing and enforcing safety rules, PPE requirements, plant policies, and union agreements.
• Championing 5S practices and maintaining an organized, safe, and productive work environment.
• Working closely with the Production Manager and cross‑functional teams at our Sacramento manufacturing facility.

• Competitive salary range of $90,000 – $105,000 annually.
