- Composite Manufacturing to join our innovative and dynamic team.
This role is critical to ensuring the success of our composite manufacturing operations, with a focus on precision machining and programming. If you have experience in CNC machining, programming, and interpreting technical drawings, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities:CNC Machining and Programming:
- Program and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce high-quality components.
- Set up and calibrate CNC equipment to ensure precision and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Inspect machined components during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Identify and address any defects or deviations promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of machining processes and quality checks.
- Analyze machining processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Work closely with other machinists, engineers, and production staff to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Assist in training new team members on CNC machining techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficient operations.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or technical certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining and programming.
Skills:
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, including mills and lathes.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Experience in composite machining is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
