Rev up your welding career by joining our dynamic manufacturing team as a Permanent Welder! We are a leading company in the manufacturing industry, committed to innovation, quality, and excellence. We are currently seeking a seasoned Welder with a strong background in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Shielded FCAW welding, Grinding, and Quality Control. This opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment and has a keen eye for detail.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities
  • Utilizing various welding techniques such as SMAW and FCAW to assemble manufactured products according to specifications.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and plans to understand the welding requirements.
  • Grinding and finishing work pieces to ensure smooth surfaces and meeting quality standards.
  • Conducting quality control checks on completed projects to ensure they meet the required specifications and safety standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all welding activities and regularly inspecting equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot any issues and improve processes.
  • Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in welding, specifically with SMAW and FCAW.
  • Proven experience in grinding and quality control.
  • A thorough understanding of welding equipment, tools, and procedures.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A professional certification in welding from a recognized institution would be an added advantage.
