Join our team as a Chemical Plant Operator at our Sacramento, California location. This role involves handling and repackaging chlorine and TChlor, as well as performing maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our chemical plant.

• Repackage chlorine and TChlor into totes and drums.
• Load trailers with TChlor and chlorine tonners.
• Manufacture TChlor to specific percentages.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as painting, washing, and bead blasting of equipment.
• Rebuild valves as needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours a day and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Ability to don and doff personal protective equipment multiple times per day.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow proper chemical handling procedures.

• Prior experience in chemical manufacturing or handling.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and PSM requirements.
• Knowledge of pumps and their operation.
• Experience with forklift operation.
• Basic computer skills.

This is a day shift position in a manufacturing environment. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training in product knowledge, safety procedures, and equipment operation.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sacramento, CA.

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
