- Assist with composite manufacturing processes, including layup, infusion, and filament winding.
- Provide technical support for production operations.
- Operate and maintain equipment to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of manufacturing equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment or processes, implementing solutions as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficient operations.
- Conduct inspections of components during and after production to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Document production processes and report any deviations or issues to the supervisor.
- Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Assist in training new team members on manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide feedback on manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or technical certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field is a plus but not required.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate complex machinery.
- Basic understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical drawings.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
