** Tool and Die Maker – Manual Machinist**, you will use conventional machining equipment, precision measurement tools, and mechanical repair skills to manufacture, modify, maintain, and rebuild tooling and components used in high-speed metal can manufacturing.###

Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture, repair, modify, refurbish, and rebuild dies, precision tooling, fixtures, and mechanical components for high-speed can-making machinery.
* Operate
** manual machining equipment**, including Bridgeport mills, manual lathes, grinders, and other conventional machine tools.
* Perform precision machining and tool and die making using blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions.
* Set up and operate manual machine tools to produce parts and tooling to exact specifications.
* Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and machining specifications.
* Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments to inspect components and maintain tight manufacturing tolerances.
* Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild gearboxes, pumps, and other industrial production equipment.
* Perform welding, plasma cutting, and other fabrication tasks as needed for tooling and equipment repairs.
* Calculate raw material requirements and select appropriate materials for machining and tooling projects.
* Perform quality inspections to ensure tooling, dies, and machined components meet established specifications.
* Catalog, organize, and maintain production tooling to improve accessibility, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
* Support maintenance and production teams with tooling repairs, mechanical troubleshooting, and equipment improvements.
