A mission-driven, statewide membership organization is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist to join its growing marketing and communications team. This role supports a wide range of programs, services, events, and initiatives through the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print channels. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of email marketing strategy and execution experience as well as strong project management skills, attention to detail, and experience collaborating with various departments to create campaigns that drive engagement, registration, and participation across diverse audiences.
The organization is seeking a highly organized and effective communicator that can strategically manage upwards of 20 campaigns simultaneously. This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule 3 days onsite out of their Sacrament based office. The role offers competitive compensation, ranging between $70,000-$78,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and paid holidays.
YourRole:
- Develop, strategize and execute email marketing campaigns that support organizational programs, services, events, and initiatives across digital and print channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver creative, on-brand, and results-driven marketing materials.
- Communicate with external stakeholders to understand policy, content and utilize to translate and deliver engagement-driving email campaigns.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, website updates, and other digital communications to drive engagement and participation.
- Analyze campaign performance, interpret data, and prepare reports with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and brand guidelines are met.
- Support event marketing efforts and represent the organization at events as needed.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience supporting email and integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate ideas into clear, compelling messaging.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, website content management, and basic analytics/reporting.
- Ability to analyze performance data and apply insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency with common marketing and productivity tools (email platforms, CMS, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
