PAY RANGE
: $20 – $23 per hour; part-time

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

The part-time Development Assistant will support the Broadway Sacramento Development team by handling administrative tasks, managing donor databases, fulfilling donor benefits and assisting with events. Some evenings and weekend hours are required to cover donor lounge shifts and events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Will share responsibilities as a point of contact for donor inquiries.
  • Process donations, update donor information, send acknowledgment letters and generate reports on fundraising campaign progress.
  • Serve as a donor lounge host; responsibilities include welcoming donors, overseeing donor lounge setup, helping with donor recognition and ensuring an elevated experience.
  • Help with fundraising and stewardship events.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Development team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to two years of fundraising experience, preferably at an arts organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and work collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and one to two years’ CRM database experience required, preferably with Tessitura.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Regularly required to stand during events and donor lounge shifts.
  • Ability to work in various climate conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to the height of 3 to 4 ft.
