About the Job:
Shriners Children's Northern California is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for its Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). In this role, you will provide advanced, life-saving care to critically ill pediatric patients requiring close monitoring and intensive interventions. You will work alongside physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialized pediatric teams to ensure the highest standards of critical care.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced PICU nurses who excel in high-acuity environments and are passionate about pediatric critical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide intensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor vital signs, ventilator support, and advanced life support systems
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care interventions
• Assess patient status and respond rapidly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning
• Educate and support families during critical care situations
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $58.80/hr
Shift Duration: 12 hours
Estimated Pay: $705.60 per shift

Experience Needed: PRN (As-needed basis, flexible shifts)

• Active RN license in California
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Updated Resume
• Professional References (at least two)
• COVID Vaccination Card
