About the Job:
Shriners Children's Northern California is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for its PACU (Pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit). In this role, you will provide specialized post-operative care to pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia. You will closely monitor recovery progress, manage pain effectively, ensure airway stability, and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia
- Assess vital signs, oxygenation, and pain levels
- Administer medications and manage post-operative pain
- Ensure airway stability and patient safety
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists
- Educate families on post-operative care and recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols

Hourly Rate: $61.0/hr
Shift Duration: 12 hours
Estimated Pay: $750.0 per shift
Experience Needed: PRN (As-needed basis, flexible shifts)

- Active RN license in California
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Updated Resume
- Professional References (at least two)
- COVID Vaccination Card
