Gurnick Academy is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of Nursing, Allied healthcare, and Imaging programs.

Gurnick Academy is currently seeking Didactic Nursing Instructors (RN/LVN) for the Vocational Nursing program at our Sacramento Campus,
Part-time position available for AM & PM shifts.

Job Type: Part-time
Hourly Range: $39.00 – $48.00

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Didactic classes in-person at the Sacramento Campus for our Vocational Nursing program.
• Meet with didactic and clinical faculty members to discuss program development.
• Support the Campus Director and Nursing Program Coordinator in the organization of the program and implementation of the programs standards.
• Maintain continuous knowledge medical education and assure about the facilities continuous medical education requirements.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Bachelors (BSN) or associate degree (ASN or ADN) in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with an Associate’s degree.
