Progressive Care Unit - PCU RN - Travel Nurse

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a temporary assignment in Golden, Colorado. The assignment is for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, on 12‑hour nighttime shifts.

As a PCU Travel Nurse, you will care for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment but are not unstable enough for ICU. You will use bedside monitoring equipment, administer medications, and intervene when necessary.

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring indicates adverse symptomatology.
• Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds easily, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Manage stress and communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

• Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.

* Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Pay is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
