Licensed Vocational Nurse​/LPT

Overview

Sierra Health and Wellness is a California network that provides evidence-based care to individuals dealing with substance abuse and mental health issues. Our inpatient facility houses 16 clients and is located on 4 private acres of newly remodeled land.

We are hiring for both full-time and per diem positions.

• Supervise other licensed and non-licensed staff in the day-to-day delivery of patient care.
• Prepare and review medical records and nurses’ notes to evaluate the resident’s physical and emotional status.
• Provide nursing care according to the physician’s orders, care plans, established standards, policies and procedures.
• Prepare and monitor patient-administered medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies.
• Sign, date and perform all charting, record-keeping, and care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Provide outstanding individualized resident care.

• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license required.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and e-mail. Use of EMR system is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds, working at distinct levels.
• Commitment to the philosophy of recovery, continuity of the program, and consideration and respect for clients.
• Customer-service oriented, professional attitude.
• Completion of background, drug screen, TB test, and physical examination.

• Valid driver’s license.

Hourly for full-time: $36.00 – $44.00.
Hourly per diem: $40.00.
