Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive psychiatric and acute care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and safety protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including psychosocial assessments and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner charting system, including progress notes, assessments, and treatment updates.
Execute emergency procedures and respond effectively to patient crises, including involuntary evaluations and 5150 holds.
Support unit operations by floating to different departments as needed, ensuring high‑quality patient care across various units.
Valid California RN license
BLS Certification
CA Dignity Experience
5150 Certification
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Proven experience in psychiatric or acute care settings
Ability to work varied shifts
Strong communication skills
Ability to float across units
Physical ability to stand for long periods
Skills:
Previous travel or hospital experience
