Position SummaryThe CNA provides routine daily nursing care and services to residents in accordance with their care plans, facility policies, and direction from licensed nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, weight, intake/output)
- Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility support
- Answer call lights and ensure resident comfort and safety
- Provide mealtime support, including feeding and documenting intake
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe resident rooms
- Document care accurately in charts and flow sheets
- Observe and report skin issues, injuries, or changes in behavior
- Support admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Follow infection control and HIPAA guidelines
Active CNA certification (required) CPR certification (preferred) Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach Reliable and able to follow direction
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and assisting residents
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
