Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for a variety of illnesses, injuries, and diseases in medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools under RN supervision.
• Work with physicians, RNs, CNAs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care.
• Take vitals, perform assessments, document progress, and report changes to RN supervisor.
• Assist RN with physician orders, patient care, and prescribed treatments.
• Administer medication, operate medical equipment, and maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed Practical Nurse actively licensed in the state of Minnesota and in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience in a medical facility.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
• Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
