American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Inpatient Acute Rehab position requiring CA licensure and prior rehab or inpatient experience.

• Work in the Rehab Nursing IRF unit of a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with all private rooms and a current census of 35
• Treat an adult patient population (18+) recovering from spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, amputations, and requiring extensive wound care
• Care for patients requiring isolation precautions, trach care, and restraints, with an average patient stay of 12 days
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5
• Utilizes Cerner EHR system
• Work day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Weekend rotation required every other weekend
• No float or on-call requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA certification required)
• Minimum 6 months of rehab or inpatient setting experience required
• Closed-toed shoes required
• Short, natural nails required (no acrylics)
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Provide specialized rehabilitation nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic conditions
• Navy blue scrubs preferred for RNs but not mandatory
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full time
